Summary of Vuuch Features

Vuuch offers:

  • Vuuch pages which represent the product development team's deliverables. Pages types include Part, Generic, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SolidWorks, PRO/Engineer, AutoCAD and PDF. Team members can be invited to participate in a Vuuch page or dynamically removed from the page, permitting dynamic team definition and modification.
  • Vuuch activities which are attached to one or more pages and allow a product development team to document tasks, issues and discussions. Status, due date and personal priority of activities are selectable.
  • Add-ins for Microsoft Office, CAD tools and common desktop applications. Vuuch page and activity status are updated in real-time directly in the tools users prefer, delivering both real-time team awareness and enhanced ease of use. Vuuch add-ins are small and fast: the Office add-in is less than 800KB in size.

  • A web client. Full Vuuch capabilities are avilable in any standard browser, enabling suppliers, partners, even customers to particpate in the product development process

  • Vuuch is delivered in a "software as a service" model. Because Vuuch users do not have any up-front setup costs and Vuuch pricing is based on usage, users immediately realize the time-to-market and cost reductions that come from using Vuuch. There are no hardware costs and no capacity planning requirements for Vuuch users.
